Pause, shut your eyes, and take a slow, deep breath. Read the story of the fragrance that is on the slip of rice paper tucked inside each box. Allow your soul and senses to be immersed in this experience.
For the Bath: As in the tradition of Japanese bathing rituals, shower first. This bath is for pure enjoyment and relaxation. Once the bath is full, pour one capful of Shiso Bath Oil into the tub. Swirl with your hand to distribute evenly and then slide into the bath. Try to soak for at least twenty minutes. When you exit the bath, pat skin dry – don’t rub. Be sure to drink a full glass of water after the bath. This is a soak for all seasons. Use warmer water during cooler months and lukewarm water during the warmer months.
For the Shower: After washing with the coordinating Aromatic Body Wash, step out of the water and apply a small amount of Shiso Bath and Shower Oil to your palms. Take a moment to cup your palms over your nose and breathe deeply. Begin by massaging the shoulders and collarbone and make your way over the rest of your body adding more oil to your palms as needed. Allow the oil to penetrate the skin for at least a minute. Take one final rinse with water before exiting the shower. Pat the skin dry.
