In Japan, cherry blossoms are known as sakura. These gorgeous trees bloom their beautiful flowers from late March through early April. Once fully bloomed, the flowers last about two weeks before falling softly from their branches. To many, their springtime bloom symbolizes hope and new life. At the same time, the cherry blossom's short lifespan reminds one that while life is beautiful, it is also temporary.
Using 100% natural plant oils and extractions, Cherry Blossom is a blend of rare ingredients including beautifully fragrant tuberose enfleurage, mood-elevating jasmine grandiflorum, and peaceful Australian sandalwood. The result is a seductive feminine scent with light fruity top notes, gorgeous floral middle notes, and sweet, sultry vanilla and amber base notes. In a word, this fragrance is heaven.

Body Misting Essence will envelop your skin in some of Japan’s most time-honored ingredients: skin-softening sake, restorative sencha green tea, soothing antioxidant-rich gobo (burdock) root, healing yomogi (Japanese mugwort), and nourishing wakame sea kelp. Aloe vera also heals and calms the skin while adding sheer, weightless hydration.

Body Misting Essence can also be used as bookends to any self-care ritual. A few mists on the shoulders and a deep inhale before a shower, bath, or even meditation, is the perfect way to step out of the day-to-day and evoke a sense of calm and tranquility.

The Ritual

Always shake well before use to emulsify all the botanical ingredients. After a bath or shower, while the pores are still open, apply a layer of mist from the shoulders down to the tops of the feet. For hard to reach areas, mist into your palm and massage into the skin. This simple step will flush the skin’s pathways with nutrients in preparation for our nourishing Hikaru Multi-Use Oil.
