Kanaya Body Brush

$ 80.00

The Kanaya Brush company was founded in Tokyo in 1914. Each brush is made using traditional natural materials, which craftsmen sift through by hand to select the finest-quality fibers. Kanaya makes a large variety of brushes that range from cleaning tools to personal care.

This body brush is for those who prefer a medium-firm, moderately invigorating body brush experience. The brush provides exfoliation of the skin and increases lymph circulation and blood flow. From an energetic perspective, this brush will encourage meridian energy flow through the body and release energetic stagnation.

What We Love
  • The elegantly curved hinoki cypress handle allows for easy access to hard-to-reach areas and is perfect for brushing the back.
  • The bristles of this brush are firm yet supple and will not damage the skin.
  • This brush provides extensive exfoliation without the skin-damaging effects of salt or sugar body scrubs.
  • Because this brush is such an incredible exfoliator, it is perfect to use before soaking in one of our more intensive bath soaks such as the Shizumi Luxury Bath Salts or Hot Springs Experience . Since dead skin is swept away during the brushing process, the soaks’ ingredients are more easily absorbed.

Dimensions: 13.5” x 2.75" x 1.75"

Brush over dry skin with desired pressure in long, sweeping circular movements.

Do not leave in direct sunlight, as this may cause the wood to crack. Wash with a mild soap or shampoo once every other month or so, depending on frequency of use.
