For many in Japan, bathing is akin to a meditative practice. A bath is taken in the evening to reconnect with oneself, regain balance, and to wash away the cares of the day.
Experience the tranquility of the Japanese bath at home with this all-encompassing, aromatic bathing experience. Luxury Bath Salts are a 100% natural mineral rich treatment that will deeply relax and renew your mind, body, and soul.
Each box contains five generous four-ounce individual use packages and includes an extraordinary combination skin softening and muscle relaxing salts from around the world, antioxidant rich green tea, detoxifying Hokkaido kombu sea-kelp, and exquisite botanical aromatherapy fragrance.
Pause, shut your eyes, and take a slow, deep breath. Read the story of the fragrance that is on the slip of rice paper tucked inside each box. Allow your soul and senses to be immersed in this experience.
As in the tradition of Japanese bathing rituals, shower first. This bath is for pure enjoyment and relaxation. Once the bath is full, pour in the contents of one packet and soak for at least 20 minutes. Shut your eyes, relax and breathe deeply. Be sure to remain hydrated by drinking water throughout and after the bath. Since this soak is extremely detoxifying, we suggest rinsing the body with cool or tepid water prior to exiting the bath. This is a soak for all seasons. Use warmer water during cooler months and lukewarm water during the warmer months.
