A Glimpse of the Year Ahead

Happy 2018!

Believe me when I tell you that I am so excited about this year that I can hardly sleep at night. For the past month or so, I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about matcha, Okinawan sea salt, Asian ginger root. These (and more) are incredible ingredients that will be in new products that we’ll be launching this year.

Here is a peek at a few of the things you can expect to see from Amayori this year:

This Year's Focus - A Return to the Self Through Ritual: Gone are the days when there wasn't time, or self-care wasn't a priority. This is the year to take time for you. Self-care is no longer a luxury - it is a necessity for a balanced, happy life. Reconnect with yourself and bring the beauty of ritual into your life on a daily basis.

Our Aromatic Experiences Are Now Called Sensory JourneysI have always viewed these collections as more than fragrances and want to focus on a fully immersive sensory experience through fragrance, texture, mood, music, and beyond. This year, get ready to immerse yourself even deeper in these Sensory Journeys.

Luxury Bath Salts Just Got an Upgrade: We have replaced Atlantic kelp with Japanese kombu. Kombu is a kelp that is harvested from the deep, cold waters off the coast of Hokkaido. Considered a Japanese superfood, kombu is an intense detoxifier and contains myriad of minerals.

Limited Edition Collections: I want to take the time to go deeper into Amayori’s core Sensory Journeys, as these are the backbone of the line and so incredibly, delectably special. This year we will be releasing two focused limited-edition collections.

Samples, Samples, Samples: Don’t forget – any time you place an order, please let us know if there is a Sensory Journey that you would like to try. We are happy to send up to two fragrance samples with each order. Just add your request in the notes section of your cart.

What’s Coming: On January 9th you can kiss stress goodbye. Get ready for a new antidote to stress that is made with two incredible ingredients from Japan. This will become your go-to when you need to de-stress your mind and release tension in your muscles.

Other treats this year include what I call a “monthly reset button”, plus new and exciting textures and tactile immersive experiences based on ancient traditions.

Sharing Wellness: This year I want to share some of my favorite recipes and wellness tips as much as possible. Stay tuned for my delicious sugar free soy milk hot chocolate recipe that includes a healthy touch of reishi mushroom powered and Ceylon cinnamon.
