How to Take a Relaxing Summer Nap

I love a nice weekend nap during any season, but there is something especially languorous and deeply relaxing about a summer nap. They are wonderful for replenishing the body and mind after a day in the hot sun. A late afternoon summer nap allows us to wind down and refresh ourselves which prepares us for a fun summer evening. When I get home after being out in the sun I will always take a shower. Before taking a nap, I will drink a large glass of water. Sometimes it’s hard to notice how dehydrated the sun makes us. A Nighttime Routine for Better Sleep

One of my New Year's resolutions is to focus on my nighttime routine as much as I do my morning routine. Since sleeping well has always required a bit of extra effort for me, I have come up with a couple of things to do that have been helping me wind down and quiet my mind before bed. A Simple and Easy Ritual for a Peaceful Night's Sleep

  Like most people, my mind is still going by the time I am ready to go to bed. Over the past few months I have come up with a simple ritual that has helped me get a better night’s sleep. Beyond that, this ritual helps me wind down and shift gears so that by the time I get into bed, I practically pass out the moment my head hits the pillow.
