Zen Morning Spa Water

Amayori, Zen Morning Spa Water

I love making spa water and am always trying new things. Recently, I came up with a version using many of the ingredients that are used in Amayori’s Zen Morning fragrance.
Blood oranges won’t be in season for much longer but you can always leave these out or use regular oranges. When making spa water, try to buy organic as the peels are soaking in your water should be pesticide free. If you can’t find organic, just shave off as much of the peel as you can.
In the photo, I used a 32 fl oz. pitcher. You can also use a much larger one, up to 64 oz. Since the fruit is soaking, it has the ability to flavor a lot of water.

Amayori, Zen Morning Spa Water 2

Zen Morning Spa Water:
1 organic blood orange
½ organic pink grapefruit
1 organic lime
A handful of mint leaves
Wash and slice the fruit about 1.4” thick, place in a pitcher, pour in filtered or spring water. Let sit for an hour or so in the refrigerator. I tend to take out the fruit if I haven’t finished the pitcher by the end of the day. This will avoid any bitter taste from the peel.
This is a wonderful water to drink first thing in the morning, and is a favorite of mine to make on weekends.
I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
Warm wishes,
